Juventus Academy Ghana is a youth development club system in collaboration based in Ghana. The academy is in conjunction with Juventus F.C located in Italy. .[1]

History[edit]

Juventus Academy Ghana is co-owned by Juventus F.C and Ex-Juventus and Black Stars player Kwadwo Asamoah. the academy is a symbol of football excellence, helping young players with opportunities to learn and flourish both on and off the pitch. Juventus Academy is present in 50 countries.[2]

Juventus Academy offers state-of-the-art soccer fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, skating area, restaurants and courtyards for relaxation. In addition to the above facilities, this center has four classrooms with a capacity of 20 to 30 people.[3]

Joyce Annor Yeboah, a sports journalist also joined the academy after she graduated from the Ghana Football Association coaching school with a License D certificate.[4]

Programs[edit]

The academy offers 4 programs based on age groups which comes with a fee.[5] They offer free trainings for girls to foster gender equality.[6] Below are the age ranges:

  • Pulcini - (6 - 8 years)
  • Giovanissimi - (9 - 11 years)
  • Allievi - (12 -14 years)
  • Primavera - (15 - 19 years)
