K.L. Carver Elementary School, also known as Carver Elementary School, is a public elementary school located in San Marino, California. It is an elementary school in the San Marino Unified School District.[2]
History[edit]
Carver Elementary was established in 1947 and named after Kaufman Lowell Carver, who was a school board member for 19 years. The school was built on the east side of San Marino at first, but it was moved to its current location in 1953. In 1997, the school underwent a major refurbishment. A "computer center, art and science rooms, and three new classrooms"[1] were all added to the school. A few years later, all classrooms were remodled and air conditioning was installed.
