Damichael D. Tate, more commonly known as KB Mike or Klanboy Mike is a young rapper out of Chicago, Illinois. He is signed to Republic Records and is well known for his songs "Addicted", "Deep in Love" and "Used To".[1].

Early Life
KB Mike grew up in Chicago on 63rd, even though it should be noted that KB said it's not the 63rd that FBG Duck is from, but the Marquette Park and Gage Park parts[1]. He grew up with both of his parents in his life, just not in the same household. He also had an older brother, who sadly passed away. He said in an interview.[2] that he got his game from his older brother and always wanted to be like him. KB said that when he was younger he was involved in the streets because he had to do what he had to do. KB lost some friends to drugs and that's one of the reasons why he made the song "Drug Scars"[3][4]
In 2021 he announced in an interview[2] he's having a baby girl with his girlfriend in February and would be naming her Winter.
Career
KB Mike's career started in early 2020 when he released multiple singles such as "Addicted", which started as a snippet on Facebook. When it went viral, KB decided to release it to YouTube on May 24th, 2020[2]. A couple months before, on March 22nd, 2020 he released his debut single "Here We Go Again". On April 15th, 2021 he released an album called "Nothing Lasts Forever[5]" it had 15 tracks with a length of 36 minutes. He got signed to Republic Records[6], it is unknown when. Around October, 2021 he released a song for awareness about domestic violence called "Deserve Better"[7]
