KJJB 95.3 FM is a radio station broadcasting a Country format. The station is currently licensed to Eagle Lake, Texas.
History[edit]
Gerald Benavides originally requested and was granted a construction permit to build a Class C3 FM broadcast facility in December 2007. After 5 years with no activity, the permit was transferred to Jennifer Cremeens in May 2012. On June 13, 2012, KJJB filed for License to Cover at 25 kilowatts, but quickly ran into equipment issues which saw the facility go silent, or broadcasting at a Special Temporary power of only 1 kW, with approval from the Federal Communications Commission.
