KK FMP
KK FMP SoccerBet is a Serbian professional basketball club based in Belgrade. Founded in Železnik on 26 March 1975 as KK ILR Železnik, the club has competed under the name FMP since 1991 and is recognized for its successful youth development programme.[1][2]
The club progressed through every level of competition, from the Belgrade leagues to the highest tier of Yugoslav basketball, reaching the SUPER YUBA League after the 1995/96 season.[1][2]
FMP's greatest achievements include winning the Yugoslav National Cup in 1997, three Radivoj Korać Cups (2003, 2005 and 2006), and two ABA League titles (2004 and 2006).[1][2]
The club is renowned for developing young players, with numerous Serbian internationals, including Miloš Teodosić, Miroslav Raduljica, Milan Mačvan, Dejan Milojević, Duško Savanović and Marko Gudurić[2], having progressed through its system, while its long-term strategy remains focused on nurturing emerging talent.[1]
In recent years, FMP has continued to record notable results in domestic and regional competitions, including appearances in the Serbian League Finals and the ABA League playoffs, finishing fifth in the 2022/23 ABA League regular season before reaching the quarter-finals.[1][3]
The club competed under the name FMP Meridian following a sponsorship agreement with Meridianbet in 2021 and later entered into a multi-year partnership with SoccerBet, under which it currently competes as KK FMP SoccerBet.[4][5]
