Justin Dimichel (born March 13, 1993), known professionally as KNO/WHY, is an American Electronic Music producer and DJ.[1] This young artist has played headlining shows and festivals throughout America due to his fascinating[peacock term] music and performance.[2] One of his younger achievements was being able to perform at a famously well known[neutrality is disputed] Pacific NorthWest festival, Paradiso (2019).[3] His signature style is inspired by Hip-Hop, Metal / Alternative bands, Jazz, raw uncut emotions and Electronic Music. He is also the founder of Feeding Back Tuesday, a live weekly podcast dedicated to giving genuine feedback on music submitted by artists from many diverse countries.[better source needed]

Formally from Seattle, Las Vegas-based DJ and music producer KNO/WHY moves crowds with a beautiful innovative twist of hip hop and electronic music. His unique mix of combining many genres makes this artist highly versatile in live performances and music creation. He started off his career in the underground rave scene in Seattle, and then began playing sophisticated nightclubs and upscale venues, in a matter of years. Having grown from intricate roots laced from the Hip-Hop scene, at a young age KNO/WHY found an enlightening balance between creativity and intelligence in rap lyricism[peacock term]. After crafting personalized beats for his music, he rapidly and inevitably expanded into a career of music production and sound design engineering. You can hear his signature sound, melodic progressions and trap percussion patterns in clubs all throughout the world.[neutrality is disputed][4]

Career[edit]
After becoming obsessed and fascinated by musical creation by 12 years old, Justin has gained inspiration from many different types of musical styles and genres from a very young age. You can hear his vast appreciation for complex styles and sounds in his music or performances.[4] He signed his first major record as KNO/WHY on EDM Collective in 2018 featuring rapper Rico Act.[5] He then went on to release his first independent album (Apart of Me) one year later.[6] His new EP "Better Daze, is set to be the young producers’ biggest release to date and will be available on February 26, 2021 in partnership with The Orchard, a subsidiary of Sony Music".[7] Justin has also played along side artists such as (but not limited to), UZ, Ray Volpe, ETC! ETC!, Cherney, eazybaked, Herobust and Sharps. This individual has also gained recognition from thissongslaps (EDM news company), for his remix of "With You" by Virtual Riot.[8]
