KOIPURAM PALLIYODAM
Comment: I cannot see notability for the boat. If the boat equates to the team then there is a possibiity for passing WP:NTEAM, bit not as written. The contest in which it competes may be notable 🇵🇸🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦🇵🇸 17:27, 31 October 2026 (UTC)

The Koipuram Palliyodam(കോയിപ്രം പള്ളിയോടം) is a palliyodam (snake boat) from Koipuram in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, India. It is one of the boats that take part in the annual Aranmula Uthrattathi Vallamkali, a snake boat race held on the Pamba River at Aranmula.[1][2]
Participation
The Koipuram Palliyodam is listed among the palliyodams of the Aranmula race by the Aranmula Palliyoda Seva Sangham, the body that organises the event.[1]
Race results
The Aranmula race is held in two categories, the A batch and the B batch. The Koipuram Palliyodam competes in the A batch.[3][4]
- 2024: The boat won the A-batch final and the Mannam Trophy at the race held on 18 September 2024. It was the first edition in which qualification for the final was decided on race times, on the model of the Nehru Trophy Boat Race. A total of 49 boats competed.[3]
- 2025: The Koipuram crew left without taking part in the losers' final, in protest over what they said was an error in the timing.[5]
- 2026: Won the second prize in A-batch final. The boat was one of four boats in the A-batch final and finished second behind Melukara.[4][6]
