KOR Water[edit]
KOR Water is a California based hydration company providing products to filter, store, and enhance water. Introduced in 2008 by Eric Barnes and Paul Shustak, KOR Water products are now distributed in over 50 countries with partnerships around the world..[1]
In 2008, KOR Water came out with their first product, the KOR ONE Hydration Vessel water bottle[2][3]
KOR Water used Kickstarter[4][5] to fund both the KOR Nava water bottle and its newest KOR Water Fall[6] countertop filtration system. Both Nava and Water Fall use carbon made from natural coconut shells to purify water.[7][8][9][10]
In 2017, KOR Water launched KOR Plus, a reusable bottle with an enhanced filter that turns tap water into alkaline, antioxidant water.[11][12][13][14]
Philanthropy[edit]
Thirst for Giving is an initiative that launched with the introduction of four new KOR ONE colors. This program intends to help protect, celebrate, and treasure water by aligning with non-profits that represent KOR’s values including the protection of natural water resources, recycling, and providing safe drinking water to those who don’t have access. Each color represents an organization and 1% of the profits from the sales of each colored bottle will go toward its respective charity.[15]
The Ocean Blue KOR ONE benefits ocean protection through the Algalita Marine Research Foundation. The Sunrise Orange KOR ONE supports the Container Recycling Institute. The Sawgrass Green KOR ONE goes toward watershed protection through The Wetlands Initiative. And the Orchid Pink KOR ONE supports the global water crisis benefitting Blue Planet Run.[16][17]

KOR Water has been featured in reputable lifestyle and business publications including Oprah’s “O List”[18], The Huffington Post[19], Fast Company[20], Digital Trends[21], Gizmodo[22], and Inc. Magazine[23], to name a few.[24]
The KOR ONE Hydration Vessel was also featured in Iron Man 2[25][26] alongside Robert Downey Jr. in 2010 and in the future kitchen of Space Mountain at Disney World and Disneyland in 2011[27]
