KP aravind
KP Aravind is a professional Indian motorcycle athlete and specialises in cross-country endurance rallies. He hails from Udupi district in Karnataka but is based in Bengaluru. He takes part in motorsports events like dirt track, rallies, motocross and supercross. He won 17 Indian National titles in different formats of motorsports.[1] After over a decade in motorsports, he became an off-road and enduro rider taking part in the Dakar Rally in 2017 and 2018. He became only the second Indian to complete the Dakar rally in 2019 after compatriot CS Santosh, representing Sherco TVS Rally Factory team astride RTR 450.[2][3] He also won the Raid de Himalaya in 2015, the toughest Indian cross-country rally.[4]
In 2020, he was selected for the eighth edition of Kannada Big Boss, a reality show on Colors Kannada channel and was elected captain of the house three times and gained immense popularity with the people of Karnataka, eventually finishing runner-up in the popular show.
