Kunju Pillai Rajagopal (born 21 January 1952) is a politician. Presently he is the Kollam District committee Secretory and State committee member of Communist Party of India (Marxist)(CPI(M)).
Personal Life and education[edit]
K Rajagopal Born on 21 January 1952 at Pathanapuram. His father M Kunju Pillai was a retired Teacher and well known a surveyor at Pathanapuram. His mother Bhavani Amma was a homemaker. He was the youngest son of the couple. He has one brother and five sisters. K Rajagopal is married to S. Lathika and has two children, Rakesh R L and Rekhasree R L. He completed his schooling from St. Stephen's High School, Pathanapuram. Later he did pre-degree from St. Stephen's college, Pathanapuram. He completed his graduation in Politics from D.B. College, Sasthamkotta.
Political career[edit]
K Rajagopal entered politics through student union activities and eventually joined the Communist Party. He was the Secretory and President of Kerala Students Federation Kollam District Committee and State committee member. Later he joined CPI(M) after his study and worked in the trade union area. From 1998, He is holding the post of Kollam District Committee Secretory of CPIM(M).
