Kalayaan Literary Circle
Kalayaan Literary Circle or KLC is the Katipunan Magazin writing guild of the Philippine Languages and Literature program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. KLC publishes contents on student-led initiatives and projects that promote Filipino culture and Philippine languages. It is an organ that publishes content by semester, and encourages the submission of works from undergraduate students who are language learners of Philippine language learners. Student works of literature, such as prose and poems in Filipino and Ilocano languages, are also published by KLC. Members of the KLC work closely with the on-campus Filipino clubs such as Katipunan Club and the greater Filipino community in Oahu and other Hawaiian Islands.
