Kamel Ghribi (Tunisian Arabic: كامل الغريبي) is a Tunisian born energy market broker and the founder of GK Investment, President of GSD Healthcare, and Vise President of Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato. Before establishing GK Investment Holding Group, Chairman Kamel Ghribi was Vice President of Olympic Petroleum Corporation in New York, President of Olympic Management in Italy, and Chairman of Olympic Energy – an energy holding company based in Europe. He also served as Chairman of Attock Oil Company UK before selling it to set up GK Investment Holding Group.
Career[edit]
At the age of 29, he became the vice president of Olympic Petroleum Corporation in New York. later he joined Olympic Management in Italy. In 1994, founded Attock Oil Company in the United Kingdom, which he exited in 2005.[1][2] He was an instrumental host in bringing back Gadaffi to an Italian stock market listed companies by facilitating meetings between Italian regulators and Muhammad al-Huwayj.[3] According to the reports, in early 2000s he facilitated former Bush administration's Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Herman Jay Cohen trips to Tripoli as a part of Gadaffi's reconciliation with the west.[4]
In 2015, he founded GK Investment in Lugano[5] to trade in commodities such as crude oil and other petrochemical products.
