Ifeanyi Okoye, known professionally as Kan Did, was born in Sokoto State and raised in the vibrant streets of Ikpoba Hill, Benin City. His journey into music began at an early age and his passion for music blossomed in the local studios of Ikpoba Hill where he spent countless hours perfecting his sound. This unwavering dedication led him to Lagos, where he started to pursue music professionally, carving out a unique space for himself in the Afro-music scene.
A Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe Oghara graduate, Kan Did holds an ND and HND in Statistics. However, his true calling is music, influenced by the legendary Wizkid and reggae icons like Chronixx and Damian Marley. These artists shaped his musical direction, blending Afro music with R&B, Highlife, Afropop, Afroswing, and Dancehall elements.

Kan Did made his first breakthrough with the release of Shoko, a single that resonated with audiences and solidified his place in the industry. He continues to captivate listeners with tracks like Nonstop Vol 1, Mama, Shook, and No Be Regular. His collaboration with the renowned artist Erigga further expanded his reach.
Known for his experimental approach, Kan Did's music is soft, simple, romantic, and sexy. He draws inspiration from real-life experiences, infusing his work with positivity and hope. His latest album, Color of Feeling, is proof of his growth as an artist as well as his ability to connect with his audience on a deeper level.
