Kanak Sen Deka (Born 16 July 1933) is an Assamese journalist and writer. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Assamese newspaper Dainik Agradoot. Deka has written several books since the 1980s.
Deka was also the president of Asam Sahitya Sabha for two terms, in 2005 and in 2007.
Early Life
Deka was born in Belsor of Nalbari district on 16 July 1933. He is the elder brother of Assamese politician Nilamani Sen Deka.[1]
