Cracka, real name Kane Gamble, is a cyber security researcher and former Hacktivist. He was arrested in 2016[1] under the suspicion of being the leader of Crackas With Attitude, a hacktivist group believed to have hacked CIA's John O Brennan[2], United States Department of Justice[3], Mark F. Giuliano, James Clapper and numerous other high ranking US government officials.
Arrest[edit]
Kane Gamble was arrested at his home in Coalville, Leicestershire when he was 16 years old in February 2016. He was bailed for 2 years and eventually sentenced to 2 years imprisonment[4], with the judge saying Gamble engaged in "politically motivated cyber terrorism."[5]. Gamble served his prison sentence in the maximum security prison HMP Belmarsh in south-east London.
