Kanene Pipkin

Kanene Pipkin is a musician with the band Lone Bellow.[1] She sings and plays the mandolin.

Early life[edit]

Kanene grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She attended university at the College of William and Mary, where she majored in linguistics and graduated in 2007.[2] After her college graduation, Kanene lived and worked in China and New York, where she worked as a pastry chef at L'Ecole.[3]

The Lone Bellow[edit]

Kanene's band The Lone Bellow hit it big during the folk rock music craze in 2013 with the band's self-titled album, which entered the Top 100 on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart and went into Billboard's Top 20 on both the alternative albums and folk albums charts.[4]

Personal Life[edit]

Kanene is married to musician David Pipkin.[5]
