The Kanoria Foundation was founded in 2014 as a holding company for various businesses of Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd.[3] Its asset base is USD 10 billion.[4] According to one of its trustees, Hemant Kanoria, the Foundation is built with the purpose of giving various businesses a structure to ensure continuity.[3]
Through the trust, income is invested back into businesses, as well as social initiatives.[3] Some of its social-inclined activities include running schools, hospitals, and hosting healthcare and spiritual conferences. [3]
