Kanti Sweets is an Indian sweet manufacturer based in Bangalore, Karnataka. Kanti Sweets has ISO 9001-2008 and HACCP 22000:2005 certifications.[3] The company produces a variety of sweets from West Bengal, Rajasthan, Delhi, Karnataka, and other states. It also produces special sweets for festive occasions such as Sankranti, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Dasara, Deepavali, Teej, and Christmas.[4]

Kanti Sweets was founded in 1957 by Pandit Jyoti Swarup Sharma. At the time, Sharma ran a sweet counter inside the now-defunct Bharathi Hotel at Majestic. Seeing the success of the sweet counter, Sharma opened a 6ft by 6ft counter at Kempegowda Circle in Gandhinagar called Kanti Sweet Meat Stall. The store was named after Sharma's brother, Kantiswarup Sharma. Rajendra Prasad Sharma, Jyoti Swarup Sharma's son, took over the business following his father's death in 1973. Since 2005, Kanti Sweets has been run as a family partnership by Rajendra Sharma's son, Shailendra Sharma, along with his mother, his wife, and his younger brother.[4][3][5]

In 2015, Kanti Sweets launched a mobile app which enables users to locate outlets and place orders for home delivery of sweets. The company decided to launch the app after it opened 40 outlets in Bangalore. Shailendra Sharma noted, "If we had fewer outlets, it may have been difficult, but with our current strength and capacity, we can cater to most orders within two hours and in a few cases have even fulfilled orders within 15 minutes." The company also accepts orders through the Urbanpiper and Roadrunnr mobile apps.[3]

Kanti Sweets operates a 35,000 sq ft production centre in Rajajinagar, Bangalore, which produces 5–6 tonnes of about 150 varieties of sweets daily as of 2015.[3]

Kanti Sweets sources ghee from Tamil Nadu, kesar primarily from Kashmir and Delhi, and corn flakes and groundnuts from Gujarat.[3]

Kanti Sweets set up an in-house laboratory, with assistance from the Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, that analyzes the quality of sweets produced.[3]
