Kapil Kakar is an Indian Activist [1], Psychologist, author, writer and producer. He has written for the Times of India, Hindustan Times, indiatimes.com and other newspapers and magazines.[not in citation given][2][3][not in citation given]
He was actively involved in the IAC movement[clarification needed] and has been regularly filing RTIs and cases in the courts regarding various government agencies, to bring about desirable change.[4]
He has represented Electronics Division in India as a Psychologist at World Skills conducted in Abu Dhabi in 2017. Apart from being a founder Member of Shadow Cabinet Chaya Mantri Mandal, he has also been involved in resident welfare during Covid times by helping people with Oxygen Concentrators and Cylinders when they were not even available with the government.[5] [6]
Early Career
Dr Kapil Kakar, besides being an established Sr. International Behavioural and Soft Skills Trainer for about 22 years, is also a Psychologist, Coach, and author. Dr Kakar has trained more than 2 Lac people from different walks of life.
Dr Kakar is one of the Pioneers in India to start an open and corporate Train the Trainer Workshop in 2002. He has conducted more than 200 Train the Trainer Workshops for different organizations, in their plants and more than 10 TTT workshops for companies like Maruti, JBM, and Indian Oil in the last 5 years. He is a regular panellist with leading national news channels like India Today, CNBC Awaaz, NDTV, India News, India TV, Zee News, News 24, Focus TV, CNEB, Sahara India TV, AAJ Tak and many more.
Dr Kakar’s expertise lies in minute observations and scientific methodology to understand humans in various settings, especially as a Coach. This helps in assessing people’s perception, attitude, and ability to comprehend and adjust, and further draws out different ways to bring about a change in the same. Most of his Behavioural training is based on Leadership, Team Building, Behavioural, Presentation Skills, Training the Trainer, Motivation, Communication, Selling, Managerial Skills, HR Managerial, and Handling Skills, Stress Management, Customer Orientation, Coaching and Mentoring, Execution Excellence, Workplace Ethics, Conflict Management and Team Building.
He has conducted Workshops in companies like Tata Chemicals, Aqua Mall (Aqua guard), Blue Star, Tata Teleservices, SRF, Maruti, Doosan, Vodafone, Samsung India, Samsung Asia PTE, European Union and many more.
He is also the inventor of the device Mind coach.
Dr Kapil Kakar wrote and produced the Movie ‘Black Justice’ with a lot of passion. [7] He did this after studying Indian Courts and what goes through the courtrooms. He had also in 2014 filed a PIL on Police Reforms in Delhi High Court after studying policing in more than 20 countries across the globe. Being a Nationalist and understanding, as a Psychologist, that Behaviour comes from the environment and the environment unless changed cannot change Behaviour.
He is on a mission to transform Judiciary in the country through reforms. This movie he has produced from his hard-earned money and dedicates it in hope of changing the pedigree of the Nation. He was involved in every step of the Movie ‘Black Justice’ and minutely displayed desired changes required.
