Kapsaon

Kapsaon is Kalenjin for "place of loud sound". It is a small village located in Nandi County, Kenya; the county itself comprises fewer than 1000 residents. Kapsaon nonetheless has produced more than ten graduates in engineering and medicine. They variously attended the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Egerton University, Moi University, and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, amongst others.
