Dr. Kara von Dresner de Rothschild (born March 18, 1978) is a Greek-American psychologist, philanthropist, Gardenroots political activist and founder of the American Republican Sisterhood (ARS)[1][2][3][4][5], and Sweet Baby Jeez Teez - a clothing line developed to spread Christian and Conservative ideals. She is also affiliated with Southern Luxe Entertainment, a film group that produces award-winning Christian films.

Business and Beyond[edit]

Dr. von Dresner is the founder of the American Republican Sisterhood[6][7] (ARS), a social organization for Proverbs 31 women dedicated to preserving Republican values and creating economic impact through fellowship and empowerment. Due to sisterhood demands for Republican t-shirts during the 2024 Presidential Election, Kara additionally launched Sweet Baby Jeez Teez - a website and line of clothing that features Republican, Biblical, Christian, military, and whimsical t-shirt designs because "our sisters had nowhere to shop!" Shoppers can order a myriad of gifts and clothing for the whole family and many of the design collections give 100% of proceeds to the title charity. Von Dresner has spent the majority of her career after leaving the faculty of the Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry in the field of human intelligence, transitioning from military to political arenas in 2012.

Career as a Psychologist[edit]

Dr. Kara von Dresner received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology and completed residency, fellowship and postdoctoral training through a program at Harvard University[8][9]. She has done work with forensic and military populations and is reported to be accomplished in strategic interviewing[8]. She has published a wide range of empirical literature[10][9][11][12], including articles related to parasuicidal behavior, psychopathy, interrogation, delinquency, and transgendered patients[13] [14][15][16]. Von Dresner is finishing a memoire depicting the internal struggle of soldiers who she treated while working for the US Army and NSA [17]. She was licensed to practice in DC and Virginia [4] and works with government agencies consulting on matters of national security. She recently gave up all of her licensure to provide free and confidential PTSD therapy to Navy SEALs. Her methods are believed to be unconventional, but highly effective.[8]

More recently, Dr. von Dresner began using FaceBook and YouTube as platforms to reach Americans who suffer from PTSD, depression, or suicidality, but do not have access to military healthcare. During a YouTube post and several interviews, von Dresner admits that she has "random people contact (her) via FaceBook" while they are actively suicidal. She is able to cure their acute suicidality and decrease ideation, however, she reports she often must meet with them via WhatsApp video messenger, because it is "too hard to understand people with a gun in their mouth." Von Dresner consults with mental health non-profits pro bono and, at one point, had over 1 million followers on her Instagram account giving practical advice, ideas and support to patients and their families. The account was taken down due to repeated Republican memes.

Political Contributions[edit]

Kara is an avid Republican and has supported right-wing politicians, legislation, and organizations since at least 2011 [2]. She donates funds and expertise to a myriad of Republican politicians, including Jason Miyares, Glenn Davis, Tanya Gould, Jen Kiggans, Bryce Reeves and John Cosgrove [20][21][22]. She was Virginia's "Republican Woman of the Year" and serves on the board of the Republican Professionals Network. Dr. von Drenser currently works for a political consulting firm in Washington DC.

Von Dresner serves as a keynote speaker across the country providing political insight and analysis. She believes far-right ideology is imperative for our country's future and said in a recent article "God uses conservative Republicans as a vessel of his will. Our country needs the far-right to remain unwavering in their beliefs and hold the line from succumbing to centrists." Von Dresner advocates, however, that "80% of Americans agree on 80% of the issues" and her efforts focus on working with conservative Democrats and Libertarians to "pass effective legislation, protect children, strengthen the economy and military, and preserve a respectable American culture." She says, as a woman, she wants to "get done 100% of what can be done."

In 2023, von Dresner founded the Virginia Republican Sisterhood (VARS), which has since grown and transitioned to the American Republican Sisterhood (ARS). ARS is a social organization for Republican women dedicated to spreading conservative and Christian values. Dr. von Dresner currently serves as the organization's Grassroots Political Director and also travels the nation speaking about the importance of tolerance in preserving conservative culture and inclusion needed to attract new members and build the Republican party. Currently, ARS has over 3,000 sisters and hosts Yappy Hours in about 20 cities and 6 states.

Personal Life[edit]

Dr. von Dresner is notoriously private about her personal life due to political, business and non-profit organizations, however she recently announced her engagement to sitting Republican Virginia Senator Bryce Reeves. [2] She is believed to have homes in Virginia Beach, Washington DC, New York City, Orange County (Virginia), Greece, Paris and Boston[1][3]. Von Dresner reports "when you get to a certain point, your girlfriends become family." On social media, in podcasts, and at award ceremonies, Kara has been referred to as "a paragon of munificence," an "undercover Einstein," "the most beautiful woman in the world - and her looks aren't bad either," and a "relentless defender Republican values." She posts often about her Republican "sisters" and 4 rescue dogs Toulouse, Effie, Gator, and Tank.
