Karen Groat
Karen Marie Groat won the title of Miss Illinois USA 1980 in Joliet, Illinois.[1] It was the first beauty pageant Groat competed in and included 118 contestants from over 80 cities around Illinois.[2]
Karen is 6' tall and hails originally from Schaumburg but her family moved to Princeton, IL in 1969. Karen has one older sister, Kim and two younger brothers Henry and Greg. Karen had a dream of becoming a model and after meeting Karen Morrison, Miss USA 1974, it made that dream even stronger. Karen and her husband Jon Robbins now reside in Dallas, TX.[citation needed]
