Maternal mental health expert widely cited on topics related to postpartum depression[1][2][3] and anxiety[4][5][6] and mom-shaming[7][8][9][10]. She is credited with creating The Art of Holding Perinatal Women in Distress™, a widely used model of perinatal treatment[11][12]

She has written several books[13] on postpartum depression and related topics, especially as it relates to the therapeutic treatment of the mother.[14]

These books were pioneering and span both academia, training, and self-help and have helped make her an internationally recognized voice.[15][16][17]
