Karen Knox
Karen Knox is a Canadian actor, writer, and filmmaker.[1] [2] She is best known for her work on the KindaTV digital series BARBELLE.[3][4][5][6][7]
Early Life
Karen was raised in Orangeville, Ontario before moving to Toronto to pursue acting. She is the youngest ever graduate of LAMDA's (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) master's in classical acting program.[8]
Career
Karen wrote, produced, and stars in season one and two of the series BARBELLE.[9] She is the voice of Shaid in the video game Starlink: Battle for Atlas[10]
Karen has appeared on stage in a number of Toronto theatrical productions including the world premiere of John Patrick Shanley's A Woman is A Secret[11] and Aaron Posner's Stupid Fucking Bird.[12]
Karen directed the film Case of The Massey Bodice Ripping which played at the Cannes Short Film Corner and The Canadian Film Festival. The film is partly based on Knox's connection to the Toronto Massey family.[13][14][15]
