Background
Kargo Xpress (KX) is a full-fledged air freighter based in Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA. KX offers both charter and scheduled air cargo services. Its aim is to promote efficiency and effectiveness in cargo handling. KX holds a Conditional Approval for A Ground Handling Licence (GHL) from the Malaysian Aviation Commission.
Kargo Xpress first commenced its commercial air cargo operations in June 2021 with only one aircraft. As of March 2022, KX’s fleet size has expanded to three aircraft, consisting of one B 737-400 and two B 737-800s. Our fourth aircraft is scheduled to arrive by the end of April 2022, and the 5th and 6th aircraft are targeted to be inducted into the fleet in June and August 2022. By the end of 2022, we are targeting to have at least 8 aircraft in our fleet.
Kargo Xpress is developing its very own Cargo Terminal Operation (CTO) with a total capacity of 225,000 tonnes per annum as part of its expansion plan to provide reliable, comprehensive and seamless air cargo handling solutions to its customers, to provide a comprehensive range of cargo handling services which are customizable with dedicated storage facility for our customers, integrated with enhanced 24/7 security and CCTV monitoring systems.
