Karlskoga Hundred Savings Bank (Swedish: Karlskoga härads sparbank) was a savings bank in the Karlskoga Hundred founded in 1854.
Background[edit]
The bank was established on May 22, 1853, with the original board primarily composed of industrialists and ironmasters. Initially, they operated out of a schoolhouse near the Karlskoga Church and were only open for two hours on Sunday mornings.
In 1897, a dedicated bank building was constructed by architect Lars Kellman. It was replaced in 1908.[1]
