Kath McBride (1939 – 2000) was a British Labour Party politician who served as the 2nd Mayor of Redcar & Cleveland from 1997–8.[2] She was the 68th mayor of the borough.
During her tenure as mayor, she raised £5,000 for charities for the blind, and campaigned for greater tree planting.[1] She and her husband celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary while she was mayor.[2]
