Kathleen "Kathy" Luna San Gabriel (born June 8, 1977) is a Filipino broadcast journalist and news anchor.
From 2006 to 2017, San Gabriel was a news anchor at People's Television Network (PTV Channel 4), most recently for its early evening news program, PTV News (Evening Edition).[1] For 11 years, she was the face of the network, covering special coverages of presidential events, hosted and anchored newscasts and talk shows in the network, including Teledyaryo, News @ 6 and PTV Special Forum. On June 28, 2017, two days prior to the expiration of her contract with PTV, San Gabriel was notified that her contract would not be renewed.[2] She was informed that her final broadcast would be on June 30, 2017. However, on the morning of June 30th, she was notified via SMS that her broadcast would not proceed.[3]
Prior to PTV, she worked with ABS-CBN News and the ABS-CBN News Channel.[1]
