Katie McGuinness is a British actress best known for her roles in Snowpiercer [1], Roots [2] and Hollywood [3]. McGuinness trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Early life[edit]

Katie ‘McGuinness’ Evans was born and raised in Rotherfield, East Sussex.[4] She is the daughter of Richard, a wine merchant and Joan, a charity founder. She has 4 siblings, many of whom also work within the creative arts. She attended Beacon Academy in Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells Girls' Grammar School. McGuinness then moved to London and studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. [5]
