Introduction[edit]
Kawempe United is a football club located in Kawempe, one of the divisions of Kampala District, the Capital city of Uganda.
Club History[edit]
The club is one of the community grass-root [1] breeds of football talent.[2][3][4] In the year 2000, Kawempe United was among the 13 teams to participate in the Kampala Zone 9 Mini League. [5] Currently the club is registered in the Kawempe District Football Association fourth division league,[6] for the 2019 - 2020 football season.
Achievements[edit]
- Participation in the 2019 - 2020 Stanbic Uganda Cup.
- Qualification to the Kampala Mini League in 2000[7]

The club has a total of 23 players who make up the first and second team of the 2019 - 2020 season.
