Kayden Mingo (born February 5, 2007) is an American college basketball player for the Penn State Nittany Lions of the Big Ten Conference.

Early life and high school

Mingo was born and grew up in Farmingdale, New York and attended Long Island Lutheran High School.[1] Mingo averaged 13.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game during his senior year.[1]

Recruiting

Mingo was a consensus four-star recruit and regarded to be a top player in New York, according to major recruiting services.[2][3][4] He committed to play college basketball at Penn State over offers from Xavier and Georgia.[3]
