Kea Farm is a game based on NFT AgTech framework. This game allows anyone to become a farmer and investor at the same time. This game was born from the desire to connect the real world agriculture with the world of NFT.[1]
The game was built as a way to introduce the world to the agriculture and blockchain technology through gamification. Besides that, it is created to empower the players by giving them opportunities in the economy. The vision of the company is to create a future where everyone can become a farmer to produce their own food.[1]

Gameplay
Keafarm.io is an NFT game based on real farming simulation. The game consists of two levels:
World 1: Cyber Farm
Kent who works as computer programmer has starting to feel exhausted with the urban life. Therefore, he decided to pick up urban farming as a therapy.[2]
World 2: Eco Farm
Kent's father called him to convince Kent to return to his hometown after his farm was destroyed by the wild boars. With the previous experience in Cyber Farm, he tries to be a full timer farmer in Eco Farm. There, Kent applies integrated farming concept to have a better farming quality.[2]
In this simulation gaming environment, players can learn agriculture technology system, build a land-based farms and earn coin from harvesting season. The players can trade the NFTs among themselves.[2]
The key difference between Kea Farm and a traditional game is that Blockchain economic design is used to reward our players for their contributions to the ecosystem. This new model of gaming is known as Play to Earn game.[2]

Kea Coin (KEA)
Kea Coin (KEA) are an ERC-20 token for Kea Farm worlds. It can be use to pay for commodities. Its primary purpose is to purchase inputs for your farm, without which you would be unable to feed your animals or irrigate the plants. Furthermore, it can be use to perform major operations in Kea Ville, such as purchasing of animals or plants, and to upgrade one's assets. When players play the game, they will be able to earn $KEA, which can be used for staking or yield farming.[4]
The KEA has an unlimited supply. They do not, however, appear out of nowhere. They are made on a regular basis and deposited in a pool large enough to feed and irrigate all animals and plants on farms.[4]
All KEA earned via in-game marketplace transactions is returned to the pool and to users through ordinary in-game actions.[4]
Real Farming
Keafarm.io integrates real farming with its NFT game. Once the NFT sales reach certain milestone, Keafarm.io will build a real-world farming of the digital assets. The owner of the NFT will be entitled to claim real-world farming earning annually.[5]

Developer
Kea Farm is being developed by Neoverse Sdn Bhd which is a technology-focused startup founded in 2021. Currently, the team consists of 5 full-time employees and has its headquarter in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.[7]
