Kedrick Brown (born February 22, 1986) is an American actor from Houston, Texas, United States. He has appeared in films, dramas, and television shows.[1] Some of his notable roles are Booze in Comedy horror film Tales from the Hood 2 by Rusty Cundieff, and Emmanuel Johnson in the Neo-noir drama film Bayou Caviar[2]

Personal Life

Born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Brown graduated from Robert E. Lee High School (Midland, Texas) in 2004.[3] Brown earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from University of North Texas, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from University of Houston.[4]

Professional Career

Brown appeared in American Crime, Episode 9, in 2015.[1] In 2016, Brown worked in Oprah Winfrey's drama series Greenleaf (TV series).[5] Brown also acted in Janice Cooke's biographical drama film Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le in 2016.[6][7]

In 2018, Brown appeared in the drama film Bayou Caviar, directed by Cuba Gooding Jr., and produced by Anjul Nigam.[2] Brown appeared in NBC's TV series New Amsterdam in 2019.[8] Brown played a role, John in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.[9]
