Keilor Thunder is a NBL1 South club based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The team fields a club in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 South. The club is a division of Keilor Basketball Association, in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. The Thunder play their home games at Keilor Stadium.
History
The Keilor Basketball Association was incorporated in 1986.[1] Both Men's and Women's teams joined the NBL1 South competition in 2022.[2]
In 2024, Isabelle Bourne won the NBL1 South MVP award for the season.[3] Keilor Thunder's women's team made the Grand Final that year, but lost to Waverley Falcons.[4]
For the 2025 season, the women's head coach was Kristi Harrower, and the men's head coach was Ash Arnott.[5][6]
