Kelvion is a German company that delivers and fabricates heat exchangers for a wide variety of industries. Headquarter is based in Bochum, Germany. Kelvion has sales offices and fabrication locations in 26 countries and employs approximately 4,500 people. Annual turnover is ~800 million Euro (2015). The company as it exists today was formed when the GEA Group divested all its heat exchanger activities (GEA Heat Exhangers) to the investors company Triton Partners in 2014 which is the owner until today[1]. In 2015 the name Kelvion was introduced inspired by the historical scientist Lord Kelvin. With the history of GEA, Kelvion’s activities go back to 1920.

Kelvion is a supplier and fabricator of Heat Exchangers for a variety of industries among which: food, chemicals, Oil & Gas and automotive industry. Kelvion has its headquarters in Bochum (Germany) and has sales offices and production location in various countries.

As the former GEA Heat Exchangers, Kelvion was until 31 October 2014 part of the GEA Group. In 2014 GEA A.G. sold its Heat Exchanger Division to the Triton Investment Group for an amount of 1.3 billion Euro[2] because GEA A.G. wanted to focus on innovations in the food industry. The production of heat exchangers therefore no longer suited their core business. In November 2015 the name was changed into Kelvion.[3]

Kelvion has globally approximately 4,500 employees. In 2018 Kelvion acquired the American company Rocore for an amount of 34 milion Euro.[4]
