Kemal Antonie Lloy Brown (born 21 January 1990) is an entrepreneur,[1] speaker,[2] and philanthropist based in Kingston, Jamaica. He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Digita Global Group Inc., a group of companies including Digita Global Marketing Ltd, a digital technology and solutions company, and Digita Properties Ltd, a smart-home development company. Outside of his Entrepreneurial pursuits, Brown has lectured at The University of the West Indies, and The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean.[1]
Awards[edit]
Brown was Awarded the title of Top Performer in the 2017 Scotiabank Jamaica Vision Achiever Entrepreneur Programme.[8] [9] [10] In 2017, he was recognized as one of the Top 5 Creative Entrepreneurs in Jamaica, and in the same year was a Top 10 Finalist in the SLUSH Global Impact Accelerator.[11] [12]
Philanthropy[edit]
He has served as Vice-Curator of the Global Shapers Kingston Hub, a service organization born of the World Economic Forum.[13] [14] He currently serves as a Member of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew, the University of the West Indies Distinguished Volunteers Committee, and is a Fellow of the Commonwealth 33Sixty Leadership Programme.[15]
