Kenneth Kerewi or Ken Kerewi (born 1982 on 8 May) is a Nigerian footballer, currently playing for Samoan club Kiwi FC.

Club career[edit]

Kerewi started his career in Nigeria, before moving to Bhutan where he played for Thimphu City FC and Druk Star FC. In 2016, he moved to Samoa to play for Kiwi FC. He made his continental debut in the 2017 OFC Champions League for Utulei Youth of America Samoa (on loan from Kiwi FC) scoring two goals in three matches.[1]

He came back to Kiwi FC for the 2017 Samoa National League, before having another loan move to play in the 2018 OFC Champions League[2]. He played for fellow Samoa side Lupe o le Soaga, scoring one goal and providing two assists in six matches.

He rejoined Kiwi FC after the 2018 OFC Champions League campaign and won the 2018 Samoa National League. He was a very important player for Kiwi FC in 2019 OFC Champions League qualifying stage

Football development[edit]

Kerewi works off the pitch for football's development in the Oceania region. He is currently involved in a project with Rush Soccer from the United States which resulted in the creation of two partnerships. One with Lupe o le Soaga (Samoa Rush) in Samoa and one with F.C. Morobe Wawens (PNG Rush) in Papua New Guinea.
