As a true freshman at Ole Miss, Webster was able to play in every game making one start. During his sophomore year he became a starter for every game at the cornerback position. During the 2016 season, Webster injured his left knee in the opening game against Florida State, and sat out the remainder of the season. He was later awarded a medical redshirt for the year.
On August 1, 2017, Webster was arrested along with Ole Miss linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes and charged with shoplifting. They were later released on bail the same night. Webster was suspended for Ole Miss' opening game for the 2017 season due to the incident.
