Kendall Regional Medical Center (also known as "Kendall Regional" or abbreviated "KRMC") is a for-profit, tertiary care teaching hospital located in Miami-Dade county and is a primary teaching hospital associated with the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, Florida. It currently has around 442 licensed beds.[1] It is located in the Miami neighborhood of Kendall and is owned and operated by HCA Healthcare.

Located in west Miami at the intersection of the Florida turnpike and SW 40th St, the hospital is Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, primary PCI center, and regional comprehensive burn center. [2]. [3]. [4].

Kendall Regional Medical center is a teaching hospital and the primary training site of several residency and fellowship programs. It currently hosts accredited residencies and fellowships in the fields of Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Emergency Ultrasound, General surgery, Surgical Critical Care, Internal medicine, Radiology, Podiatry, and Pulmonology.[5] [6] [5] [7]

Kendall Regional Medical Center is also involved in the training of medical students, osteopathic medical students, and students training in other medical professions. It is affiliated with the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, Nova Southeastern University's (NSU) Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the University of South Florida College of Medicine, as well as accepting visiting medical students.[8]
