Kenethao District is in the south of Sainyabuli Province, Laos. It shares borders with Thailand in the south, Parklai District in the north, Botene District in the west and Xanakharm District in the east. Kenethao District is the entrepôt for the import of goods from Thailand and the export of agricultural products such as maize, peanuts, sesame, rice, and cassava.
