Kenny Jeremiah is a Professional Recording Artist and Entertainer that has been in the music industry for over fifty years. Kenny knew he wanted to become a performer since 1956 when he attended a concert to see Little Richard performing his great showmanship with his unique style of rock & roll. Kenny Jeremiah highly inspired by Jackie Wilson also known as Mr. excellent with incredible tenor vocals. Before Kenny sold millions of records and cultivating new artists, his big break started with him singing on the street corners. [1]

Kenny was apart of the group that is called Quotations that became Dedications they received “a listing post” with the song “why won't you write me?”, and once the two brothers named Charlie and Richie Ingui joined the Dedications, the band name changed to the historical famous The Soul Survivors[2]. His fifty years career has made him very respected among his peers and in the entertainment industry. He has affected many people on a global level since he has been in the industry. Kenny is known for his lead vocals while in the band The Soul Survivors.

Kenny Jeremiah band The Soul Survivors had three lead singers and three instrument players. The band was self-contained.  As The Soul Survivors became known to a bigger audience, their sound allowed people to think the band was made up of black members. Kenny's band The Soul Survivor had a mixer of R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Blues. Hence the reasoning of the fans[3]

Kenny Jeremiah is maybe best known as an individual from The Soul Survivors, being apart of the group from 1964 to 1969. Kenny Jeremiah worked with Shirley and Company when the hit “Shame Shame Shame” that spent four weeks in 1974 at number one on the disco charts[4]. However, the song "Expressway to Your Heart” is Kenny's first gold record[5]. The song reached #4 on Billboard Top 100. While apart of The Soul Survivors the band was signed to Philadelphia label Crimson Records. “Expressway to your Heart” was written and produced by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, which ushered in The Soul Survivors to be known as “The Sound Of Philadelphia.[6]

Kenny has done a body of solo work, mostly singles published with but not limited to Warner-Tamerlane Pub Corp. On Music Roots, Boots Music, Sony, Atv Acuff Rose Music, Ksj, Sony, Atv Acuff Rose Music, Ditmas Record and Zion Road Record. Songs included: “You Sang to Me”, “Let It Be Me”, “Hero”, “Do Me”, “Close the Door”, “A Kenny Jeremiah Christmas”, “Without Your Love, “Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose”, I Loved Her First, Move It On Over, Break My Heart No More”, “You Don't Know Me”,”You Had Me from Hello” and “Only You”.

Kenny Jeremiah has been an influential performer in Philadelphia for a considerable length of time, however, his acclaim and accolades spread a long ways past the United States and the City of Brotherly Love. Kenny Jeremiah has touch lives through his music from the days he jumps across the bar and throws money into the audience to heart/dance hitters that inspired people around the world.

Kenny Jeremiah spent a great part of the 1980's on the famous Jersey Shore circuit, touring from clubs to stadiums and increasing new fans at every step of the way. Kenny shared a stage with Big Brother and The Holding Company, Janis Joplin, Richie Havens, Eric Clapton, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Jackie Wilson and others.

Kenny Jeremiah host a worldwide radio show on wvlt.com[7].  Kenny Jeremiah is dedicated to outstanding showmanship and stage presence, as well as being a superior vocal performer.

In 2017 Kenny Jeremiah was horned on the Philadelphia Walk of fame among Charlie Ingui and the late Richie Ingu[8]. Kenny is known as one of the pioneers of "Blue Eyed Soul" and a legend in the R&B world.
