Kent Bradley James (born April 30, 1964) is an American musician, actor, and gay activist, best known by his former stage name Nick Name.
As a musician (singer, songwriter, guitar) James has performed nationwide sharing the stage most famously with Lady Gaga at the San Francisco Pride Festival in 2008. His YouTube hit "Who's Your Daddy?" and his cover of "Physical" by Olivia Newton-John are both featured on his album "Decade of Dirt (1997–2007)".[1]
As an actor his credits include MTV's "Flipped", the gay horror film Hellbent, and the rockumentary Nick Name and the Normals.[2][3][4] Hollywood's first role for James was in the Richard Marx music video "Silent Scream" directed by Kiefer Sutherland.
James resides in Palm Springs, California.
