Kept on Wikipedia:2009 Damallsvenskan

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The 2009 Damallsvenskan was the 22nd season of the Damallsvenskan. Matches were played between 25 March and 7 November 2009, with a break due to UEFA Women's Euro 2009. Linköpings FC won the title[1] [2] for the first time in the club's history (including when they were BK Kenty), and therefore became the first team from outside Stockholm and Umeå to win the league since Malmö FF in 1994. Piteå and Stattena were promoted at the start of the season, and relegated again at the end. [3]
