Addison Grace Lillard (born March 21, 2001) is a European-American singer, musician and songwriter. In 2020, their songs went viral on TikTok and have since grown to a fanbase of 3.8 million.
Early life
Addison Grace was born in England. When Grace was young, their parents got a divorce, and he and his mother moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. At the age of 14, they began to post covers of popular songs on platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. In 2014, he gained a following on Instagram, a short-form video service, and began to post original songs. They saw the site as a way to express themselves through sharing the gift of music. After finding success with TikTok, Grace released his first single, Sugar Rush on August 25, 2020[1]. They continued to make and produce music from their bedroom in Utah. Their music focuses heavily on queer/transgender identities, finding your identity, and varies from darker heavier themes to higher spirited bedroom pop.[2]

Career
In Utah, he released his debut single, Sugar Rush, produced by Cavetown. This was possible because, while on a Twitch stream, Cavetown came across Grace singing a cover of his song, Boys Will Be Bugs. This kickstarted Grace's career and opened the door to release more music. In mid-2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, his singles such as "Sugar Rush", "Manic Pixie Dream Girl", and "I Wanna Be A Boy"—went viral on TikTok. In May of 2022, they released their first EP, Immaturing, kickstarting their first headline tour: The Immaturing Tour.[3]
Since then, they have opened for Cavetown along with Tessa Violet in 2022, hosted their own international tour (The Immaturing Tour) with Sydney Rose, and opened for fellow artist, Ricky Montgomery.
Grace released his second solo EP, on November 11, 2022, titled Things that are Bad for Me.[4] Included are the popular tracks Pretty Girl, Everybody Seems to Love You, and If Nobody Likes U.
