Ajay Gupta (born 1970) is an Indian entrepreneur and founder-CEO of S.K. Educations Pvt. Ltd, a Delhi-based company that owns the Bachpan Play School and Academic Heights Public Schools (AHPS) brands.[1][2] He is associated with Rishihood University as a co-founder in 2015.[3]
Career
Gupta graduated with B.Com via correspondence and received real-time lessons from within his home.[4]
In 2004, he founded Bachpan Play School in Delhi.[5][6]
In 2012, he co-founded Delhi’s largest Diagnostic Centre Must & More.[5]
In 2020, Gupta co-founded India’s first social-impact Rishihood University. It is completely accessible to persons with disabilities (PwDs) and provides students with an inclusive environment.[7]
Personal life
Ajay Gupta was diagnosed with polio when he was only nine months old.[8]
Gupta started school late at the age of six and has lived in a joint family ever since birth. He set out on his entrepreneurial journey when he was merely 16 years old.[8] He is married and has a daughter and a son.[9]
Book author
His first book "Decoding Business Minds" launched in 2021 and is compiled from his business learnings from 36+ years of business experience into this book.[10] It explains complex business concepts in the form of storytelling, analogies, and lessons.[11]
Non-governmental organization
To turn sympathy into empathy and build a more sensitive environment around those who are specially-abled, Gupta opened not for profit organization Hum Hoge Kamyaab in 2018.[12]
