Born Group is a global digital and content production agency headquartered in New York City. Formed in 2011 as Group FMG, it was later rebranded as Born Group. The company employs over 1100 people across 8 countries.[1][2] In 2019, Born Group was acquired by Tech Mahindra,[1] one of the largest IT firms in India.[3] Born Group offers customer experience, creative design, media production, commerce and digital marketing services. Some of the company’s most notable clients include Google, Redbull, Ford, TAG Heuer, and Tata.[2]

Founded in 1987, Group FMG was involved in content creation and media production for print and digital channels. In 2011, private equity firm True North acquired a controlling stake in Group FMG for $20 million.[4] Group FMG acquired creative digital agency Pod1 in 2012 and later rebranded itself as Born Group.[5] In 2019, Tech Mahindra acquired Born Group for $95 million.[2] The company continues to operate independently under the Tech Mahindra umbrella. Born Group has completed over 500 digital transformations.[6]
