Cradlepoint is a privately held telecommunications hardware and software provider headquartered in Boise, Idaho, with international offices in the UK and Australia.[1] Founded in 2006, the company provides enterprise-class telecommunications infrastructure to the retail, financial services, healthcare, transportation, and public sectors. It supplies LTE, branch, mobile, and IoT edge solutions marketed to businesses, government organizatons and network service providers.[2] It is currently led by former Hewlett Packard Vice President George Mulhern. The company currently has more than 18,000 customers worldwide, including half of the Fortune 100 and 3,000 police, fire and ambulance services.[3]

In 2019, Cradlepoint was listed as the highest-value start-up in the state of Idaho, with a market value of $414 million.[4]

In 2020, Cradlepoint launched the "5G for Business" NetCloud Service, which combines 5G modems and antenna systems with its NetCloud platform to provide combined LTE and 5G in a single wireless WAN, support for all 5G bands, interoperability with existing customer SD-WAN and router infrastructures, and network lifecycle management.[5]
