Born Namin Haku in Osaka, Japan, Doddodo is an electronic artist known for her unique style, combining elements from various genres such as Punk rock, Celtic Music, traditional Japanese songs, 80's breakdance, and hip hop. She uses a sampler, Casio keyboards, and other available instruments like children's toys or banjos. Her heavy usage of intense drum breaks has also led to her being labeled as breakcore. Doddodo has been self-releasing albums for the Japanese label Renda records since 2002, owned by Japanese cybergrind artist Maruosa. In 2008, she was recommended to the UK eclectic label Adaadat by fellow artist Ove-Naxx.
