Greg Harris (born 1965) is the current President and Chief Executive Officer of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and has held this role since 2012.[1]. Prior to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Harris was the Vice President of Development at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York.

Early Life and Education

Harris founded the Philadelphia Record Exchange with Jacy Webster in 1985, a record store that selling used records including rare and independent albums. In 1987, Harris left the Philadelphia Record Exchange to travel with and serve as the road manager for Ben Vaughn[2].

Harris received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He later attended and received his Master of Arts in Museum Studies from The Cooperstown Graduate Program, SUNY Oneonta in Cooperstown, NY

Career

Before joining the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Harris spent 14 years as a senior executive at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York, where he advanced from curating the Hall of Fame broadcast collection to serving as Vice President of Development. Harris started at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as Vice President of Development in 2008[3]. Harris has been President and CEO of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame since 2012[4]
