VHS Collection is an American Indie rock Synth-pop band from New York City. Their debut album, Retrofuturism, was released on November 2, 2018.[1] Several of their songs have been featured in TV shows including Shameless, Sunday Night Football, and Love.[2] In 2019, they embarked on the Retrofuturism Tour, with 23 dates across the United States and Canada.[3] As of August 2018, the band had been streamed over 50 million times on Spotify.[1]

Career

All three members of the band are from New York. The band does not have a record label, and they release songs online for direct download by their fans.[1] The band released their three-song self-titled debut EP in 2015, and followed it up with second EP Stereo Hype in 2016.[4] The band members developed a modern sound that makes use of synthesizers. They started to experience success in 2018.[5] The band released their first full album an in 2018 called Retrofuturism.[6] The album has 12 songs and is reminiscent of 1980's music.[7]
